Quick, Sugar-free Nectarine & Blueberry Breakfast

Hey lovelies,

I’ve been in Brazil for two weeks and I’ve been eating like an absolute champion. A lot of people told me “Brazilian food is awful, it’s just carbs carbs carbs.”
I didn’t feel that way about it at all… I was completely blown away by it. From salt fish – Bacalhau to the incredible bakeries which sell coxhinhas (my favourite). By the sea they make this incredible dish called Mocqueca which is completely amazing! Not to mention caipirinhas and cachacas…

Basically, I love Brazil. It’s got amazing people, incredible food and such a lot of things to see! Now that I’m back, I’m trying to get back on the healthy eating train… not my strong point. So, I’ll be posting a lot about food I’m eating. Now, I’m not a nutritionist, so this isn’t a diet plan. This is just lovely fresh food – it’s not necessarily reinventing the wheel at all! I find breakfast super hard to get inspired by, so I’m trying to make a different breakfast every day, to make it worthwhile.

10 minute Nectarine, Apple, Blueberry Breakfast


  1. 1 Nectarine
  2. 1 Apple
  3. 2 handfuls blueberries
  4. 1/4 cup water


  1. 1. Add the water and blueberries into a pot at a medium high heat until it simmers, then lower hear
  2. 2. Deseed the nectarine and apples and cute into thin slices
  3. 3. Add apple and nectarine slices to a plate
  4. 4. Drizzle the blueberries and juice on top
